The Adventure River Center is proud to offer several instructional and skills development retreats. Each of these multi-day adventure seminars takes advantage of the myriad recreational opportunities and exceptional natural settings near the Adventure River House. Our guides, instructors, and facilitators masterfully mix learning, adventure, comeraderie, and good cheer in a supportive and positive environment. Participants in these retreats develop tons of new skills and an increased sense of self-worth as the result of our historically-proven approach to adventure skills workshops.
We offer womens adventure retreats, corporate teambuilding retreats and excursions, family and friends skills classes, and natural history interpretation classes. Each retreat or class, unless booked as a private charter trip, is limited to no more than 12 participants, assuring lots of personalized attention from retreat facilitators.

Womens Exploration and Adventure Retreats
The Adventure River Center offers exceptional adventure discovery retreats for women only. On these challenging and rewarding seminars participants learn new skills and gain valuable insights into the potential that exists to meet and overcome all types of challenges. These multi-day getaways can include each of the following activities: river rafting, fly fishing, rock climbing, kayaking, and ropes course challenges. Each night you return to the comfort of the Adventure River House and recharge for another day of challenges in a supportive environment and endless successes as you learn and grow.
The following options for the Womens Exploration and Adventure Retreats are all led by professional women guides. Our adventure getaway packages are offered only on a charter trip basis, for groups of four or more. Examples of these getaways can be found below. All getaway packages include overnight accommodations, all specialty adventure gear, and transportation to and from each day's activity. In a nutshell you leave all of the details to us so that you can concentrate entirely on having a great time with your friends! Please note that these getaway packages only include lunch during the day's activities. Dinners and breakfasts are not included.
Land Based Packages
The Adventure River Center offers both two and three-day land based getaway packages, with a variety of activities available in both length tours. All of the packages take in the best of the terra firma adventures available in the McKenzie river valley and surrounding mountains. These packages can be combined with our water based packages for the ultimate multi-day adventure getaway.
