The Adventure River Center is proud to feature two great instructors who offer friendly, caring, and patient instruction to those seeking to learn how to fly fish.

Micheal Jo Divita grew up fishing on the McKenzie river. His passion for hooking the wily native trout spawned his desire to share this joy with others. As a result, Michael has been teaching fly fishing for many years, using land and water based workshops to help folks develop and hone correct fishing skills. What sets Michael apart, as reflected by feedback he has received, is his warm personality and easy going style, which has endeared him to students from around the U.S.

Gail Campbell is a renowned, experienced fly fisher and instructor in Oregon. She teaches our classes and for the Deparment of Fish and Wildlife, Boy Scouts, public schools, and more. Gail received her Casting Instructor Certification in 1995 from the Federation of Fly Fishers and is known for her clear, concise, friendly, and thorough instruction in fly and regular fishing. Her men and women students all report back to us that her instruction is "Excellent and First Rate!" For women who may wish to learn as a group, the Adventure River Center offers all-women fishing classes taught by Gail, who helped develop the International Women Fly Fishers.
