The Adventure River Center is located in the Oregon Cascade foothills, in the scenic McKenzie river valley. Convenient to Portland, Seattle and the Bay Area, this place is an adventure wonderland. World class fishing and rafting on the McKenzie river, phenomenal hiking and mountain biking in the Cascades and the Three Sisters Wilderness Area, and much more is available. You can enjoy guided activities, such as fly fishing, kayaking, and rafting, or explore the region on your own. And highly regarded Tokatee Golf Course is just minutes away.
 In addition to the exceptional recreation opportunities, the ARC features a classic vacation rental home. With two formal bedrooms, two dens that double as bedrooms, and a four bed loft hideaway bedroom, the Adventure River House can comfortably sleep up to three families, or your family by itself can enjoy the rustic luxury unique to this comfortable and affordable place. The house also comes with complementary mountain bikes, a barbecue, horseshoe pit, and grass volleyball court.
With the fun and playful outdoor activities just outside the door and talented, friendly, experienced and caring guides available for each excursion we feel that the Adventure River Center should be considered by anyone looking for a first-rate, unforgettable family vacation. Please note that guests of the ARC are entitled to a 5% discount on any Destination Wilderness trip.
At the Adventure River Center you can generally join guided trips on a short notice basis or you can choose more structured adventure packages. Our adventure getaway packages are offered only on a charter trip basis, for groups of four or more. Examples of these getaways can be found below. All getaway packages include overnight accommodations, all specialty adventure gear, and transportation to and from each day's activity. In a nutshell you leave all of the details to us so that you can concentrate entirely on having a great time with your friends! Please note that these getaway packages only include lunch during the day's activities. Dinners and breakfasts are not included.

All of the packages take in the best of the terra firma adventures available in the McKenzie river valley and surrounding mountains. These packages can be combined with our water based packages for the ultimate multi-day adventure getaway.
